Adj Asst. Professor Luke Toh is Senior Consultant Radiologist and heads the Interventional Radiology service of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging at KKH. Fellowship trained in Paediatric Interventional Radiology, he has a special interest in the management of vascular malformations and is part of the multidisciplinary team at KKH managing these. He has been with KKH since November 2009 and supports the various subspecialties within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Division. Apart from the routine image-guided vascular access, biopsies, drainages, percutaneous nephrostomies and ureteral stentings, he is also actively involved in the management of the pre-parturient (fallopian tubal recanalization), the team managing morbidly adherent placentae (prophylactic balloon placement in the internal iliac arteries followed by uterine artery embolization in some patients), and embolization for post-partum haemorrhage.
He is also visiting consultant with the Interventional Radiology team of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the Singapore General Hospital, and teaching faculty with the Singapore Medical Association’s Centre for Medical Ethics and Professionalism. As Director, Talent management, he oversees the mentorship programmes for the development of young radiologists in the Singhealth Radiological Sciences Academic Clinical Programme.
