Mark Westcott MD is the Director of Interventional Radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, a member of the Northwell Health System, and Associate Professor of Radiology at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine in Hempstead, NY USA. He is also a member of the Monter Cancer Center in Lake Success, New York. Prior to joining the staff at Lenox Hill in 2002 he was a major in the United States Air Force serving as an Interventional Radiologist at Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, TX and the Site Director of Interventional Radiology at Beth Israel Medical Center Petrie Division in New York. Dr. Westcott’s practice and research are focused on Interventional Oncology particularly hepatic locoregional therapies, uterine fibroid embolization, dialysis access management and most recently the effect of left gastric artery embolization on glycemic control. He is board certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. He is actively involved in the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Unlike some of the other distinguished speakers Dr. Westcott holds only one (1) US Patent.
