Martin Krauss

Dr Martin Krauss graduated from University Erlangen-Nuernberg (Germany) in 1990 and trained as radiologist at Nuernberg City Hospital, the largest community hospital in Europe. After specialist training in interventional radiology with a main focus on vascular interventions he became Head of Interventional Radiology at Bremen Central Hospital in Northern Germany. In 2012 he accepted a position as Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Christchurch Hospital/New Zealand with a special interest in the treatment of vascular malformations, cementoplasty and embolotherapy in general. He is principal investigator for randomised controlled trials for prostate artery embolisation and bariatric embolisation. Martin Krauss is a member of CIRSE, DEGIR and IRSA
