Nicholas Brown

Interventional Radiologist, Unitingcare Medical Imaging at The Wesley and St Andrews War Memorial Hospitals, and The Prince Charles Hospital

Dr Brown specializes in Interventional Radiology, with particular interests in interventional oncology, uroradiology, thoracic interventions and sports medicine. He trained at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and St Vincents’ Hospital, Melbourne. 

He works as a full-time IR for Unitingcare Medical Imaging at The Wesley and St Andrews War Memorial Hospitals, and for Queensland Health at The Prince Charles Hospital. Nick has a number of active research interests in prostate artery embolization, interventional oncology, toxinology and pulmonary artery interventions. He is an honorary research fellow at The Australian Venom Research Unit and also currently holds academic appointments at The University of Queensland and the Translational Research Institute.

Nick is Chair of the RANZCR Interventional Radiology Committee (IRC), Co-chair of the Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG) Interventional Oncology special interest group and an active IRSA member.
