Toshihiro Tanaka

Dr. Toshihiro Tanaka is Associate Professor of Radiology at Nara Medical University under Prof. Kimihiko Kichikawa. He trained in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology at Nara Medical University. From 1998 to 2000, he had been in Aich Cancer Center as a resident and trained in interventional oncology under Prof. Yasuaki Arai. From 2009 to 2011, he had been in RWTH Aachen University, Germany as an invited researcher. He also had been a visiting clinical fellow in Maastricht University Medical Center in 2010. He has authored more than 70 publications. His current specialized research and clinical interests are TACE for liver tumor, intraarterial therapy for pancreatic cancer and hybrid CT/Angio system.
